Biography

I am a second year PhD student studying Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. My research interests are two-fold: understanding the genetic basis of complex disease risk as well as promoting equitable and diverse representation of minorities in health care research. Under the mentorship of Drs. Dana Crawford and Jessica Cooke Bailey, I am exploring novel approaches to combat complex chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Primary Open Angle Glaucoma.

Other interests include: gardening, cooking, biking, and scuba diving
